delivery and management

Evaluate all elements of property asset delivery, marketing, and management both in their component parts and as an integrated project to establish their alignment with market need, cost, efficiency, utility, performance, and compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
Project management is application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. A project is classified as a temporary endeavor in that it has a defined beginning and end. It is essential that a project is delivered on time and under budget in order to maximize profitability. This is achieved through a scheduling process that outlines when activities may begin at certain times of the development process until the project is substantially complete. Proper sequencing of activities is essential for the project being completed on time. Project managers play a crucial role in controlling the cost, schedule and delivery of the project.

In Introduction to Project Management (LDEV 663), taught by Tim Early, our final project was to create a construction schedule sequencing activities in the correct order to fit the timeline for the project for a 40-acre site with 120 lots. The schedule included construction activities, durations, and start and end dates.
