Development Conceptualization

Evaluate how property developments/investments are conceptualized, designed, delivered, and managed to maximize their value and return on investment.

The Development Conceptualization stage is one of the most critical stages in the beginning of a project. This is where ideas and concepts are formed to create a tangible product that serves a purpose for an unmet need for the market. This is determined by answering the “who, what, when, where, why, and how” of the market.

In our Design and Development Economy class (LDEV 667), taught by Geoffery Booth, my team was tasked with conducting a Quadruple Net Value (QNV) analysis of Aggie Park outside of Kyle Field. The QNV is defined as the combination of the Social, Economic & Environmental sustainability, all while considering its Sensory value. With the combination of these elements, my group was able to identify Aggie Park's current sense of place that allowed us to design, conceptualize and activate the site into a place where students can study or relax during the week, or on Aggie game days where the park can be transformed into a lively game day tailgating experience for fans and visitors to enjoy.
