Stewardship and ethics is the principle in which every professional should practice throughout their career. It's the discipline to understand morally right from wrong and the ability to demonstrate respect with honesty, integrity, equality and fairness. It's always the number one priority to act in a professional manner in the workplace. Instructors in the Master of Land and Property Development program are always encouraging us as students the importance of building a reputation for ourselves. Respect is earned- not given. In real estate it's easy to get caught up in situations that lead you to make decisions without thinking. In these situations we must try take a step back to understand what's going on and proceed from there in an ethical and professional way.
